Sydney Herds and Willow Layne are projects born out of the shared living situations experienced by members of the Bingo Records community, and the creativity that fostered. They feature members of Mr Ben & the Bens, Sun Drift and Potpourri.

The lockdown has slowed down the progress of a number of releases planned for the label. Bands can't tour and so we decided to wait before we put out the three albums we had planned for 2020. While we were twiddling our thumbs Jon from Do It Thissen got in touch with an idea to make a lathe-cut 7" of some of the tracks we had kicking around but had no plans for. He suggested we release it as a joint venture, just to keep things interesting while we waited for the schedule to resume. This is music that would not have been released physically otherwise.
